Weekend progress

We have not been able to get in contact with Chelsey recently for unknown reasons. So rather than halting work entirely we have decided to create more detailed plans of our project and our aims for the final 2 documentaries. Here is a rough plan for the second idea, the first should be uploaded soon. We are also planning to take a trip down to the park again next Saturday to get some sounds of the park and of the 5k run!

Photos from the Park!

As Dan posted on the blog the other day, we visited the park on Tuesday to meet with Chelsey. she provided us with a lot of information on the history of the park, and how they envision the park to look when it is finished.

One of the things they are looking to spend some of their budget on is the restoration of the fountain, which as you can see in the picture below is in dire need of a little TLC.

We also found out that they have already moved and recreated the parks child play area, to make it safer and more stimulating to younger children.

Hopefully soon we will have a running order sorted so we can start recording the final piece!

Hi There!

We are Dan, Molly and Darleen and this term in Radio we are going to be making a factual feature to be aired on community radio stations in Lincolnshire.

We have decided to make our piece based on the restoration and renovation of Boultham Park – a landmark of local history in Lincoln.

Hopefully our piece will follow a timeline of Boultham Park, from when it was first used as a public park, all the way up to its plans for use when the restoration is complete!

We will keep you updated as time goes by!
